Privacy and contact
WardTable is an independent community meal-scheduling tool. It is not an official application or service of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Information used for a meal
We store the host’s name, email, phone number, meal date, preferred time, and consent choices. The ward coordinator and assigned missionaries receive the details needed to arrange the meal. Public calendars show availability, missionary names, headcount, and dietary needs; they do not display host contact information.
Access and messages
Coordinators verify their email with a short-lived code. Reservation links are private: anyone with a link can view and change that reservation. Keep links private. Email is sent through Resend when connected. Optional texts use the stake’s Twilio account and require separate consent.
For texts, reply STOP to opt out or START to resume. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Opting out of texts does not cancel your meal or email reminders. Contact your ward coordinator for help.
Retention and deletion
The daily maintenance job clears host contact details from meals more than 90 days old and removes old delivery records. You may cancel a meal and use its private link to delete your contact details sooner. Already sent emails or texts cannot be recalled. Retention maintenance requires a running reminder scheduler.
Coordinator changes
A stake administrator or primary coordinator can replace coordinator access. Removed coordinators lose access to the dashboard. Do not enter sensitive medical records in dietary notes; include only instructions needed to prepare the meal.
Questions
